Aaron PalmerBeginning in April, the City of Buffalo will begin replacing all water meters within the city.
The project was announced at the last city council meeting, where Mayor Shane Schrader gave details on what residents can expect.
According to information provided by the city, benefits to the city include real-time leak detection; water usage data and trending; automatic, non-manual 24/7 meter reading; real-time data for increased city revenue and accelerated billing; and transparency on residents’ water usage.
Questions on the water meter replacement project can be directed to Buffalo’s City Hall at (307) 684-5566.
