SCLT’s Social Distancing Spring Cleaning Virtual Party

Published

on

Please join SCLT between Saturday, March 28 and Saturday, April 4 for a Social Distancing Spring Cleaning Virtual Party. Now that the weather’s warming and grass is greening, there’s no better time to do a bit of spring cleaning. Of course, we can’t get the whole gang together to give our public spaces a little TLC. But that doesn’t mean we can’t work together while staying apart to make Sheridan County an even better place – and we’ll have a ton of fun doing it!

How can I help? Grab a trash bag and gloves and go to your favorite trail, pathway, park, roadside or stream bank anywhere in Sheridan County and fill a bag with trash

How’s that a party? Take a picture with your trash and tag SCLT on Facebook or use #scltyourtrails on Instagram. On Monday, April 6, we’ll announce winners for “Most Picked Up” “Best Costume” and one randomly drawn participant. Each winner will receive $50 in Chamber Bucks you can use to help support local businesses!

What do I do with the trash?  The City of Sheridan has placed 2 Dumpsters at the Kendrick Park Shop across from the Kendrick Pool for you to leave your garbage. If you pick up recycling, you may drop that off at recycling collection points around the community.

Wait, when’s the party? The party starts Saturday, March 28 and we’ll party through Saturday, April 4

We remind everyone to please be courteous and respectful of private land.
Thank you, and party on!
