Sheridan Commission Tables Decision on Rules for Airport Land Leases

During their recent meeting, the Sheridan County Commission discussed adopting Rules & Regulations on the leasing of county-owned property at the Sheridan County Airport.

In the public hearing for the proposal, Paul Caldara spoke about concerns he has with the rules and regulations and the process involved in the leasing procedures, asking the commission consider other county departments be involved in compiling the rules and regulations and to postpone the decision to consider the issues.

Carl Clements also asked the commission to consider residents adjacent to the airport before leasing properties at the airport.

Commissioner Nick Siddle made a motion concerning the decision.

The commission voted to table the decision on adopting Rules & Regulations until their meeting on January 2.
