JCSD1 Board Approves Employment recommendations for December

The Johnson County School Board, during their Consent Agenda at their meeting last week, approved the employment recommendations for the district for the month of December.

Approved were Patricia Furnival as assistant girls basketball coach at Kaycee High School (pending certification); Zach Richendifer as assistant boys basketball coach at Kaycee Junior High (pending certification); Rileigh Olsen as assistant girls soccer coach at Buffalo High School; Heather Olsen as early childhood literacy liaison, a new position for the district; and Sabina Damone as Title I Para-professional at Cloud Peak Elementary.

The board also accepted the resignation of James Cataline as activity driver for the district, effective December 31; and acknowledged the retirement notice from

Mike Dollison as senior maintenance person for the district, effective February 2, 2024.
