cvannoyTickets are now on Sale for Christmas with the Kendricks, which will be on December 15, 16, and 17. During this popular event, visitors tour the Kendrick Mansion and watch live actors perform a play that unfolds room by room.
According to the Trail End Guild website, this year visitors will step back in time to the holiday housewarming party the Kendrick family held in 1914, meeting the family and friends who helped them hold their first big event at the mansion! Friday and Saturday tours will depart from the Carriage House at 419 Delphi Avenue: please enter through the courtyard to check in and begin your tour there. Participants must be able to climb stairs for tours on these days.
On Sunday, the handicapped-accessible tours will begin and end at the Mansion. Please enter through either the East or West mansion doors.
Please arrive only 15 minutes before your tour time. The elevator will be available for tours on Sunday only, and can accommodate non-electric wheelchairs, small electric wheelchairs, and walkers.
The characters – portrayed by local volunteers – and the script – carefully researched and written by Trail End staff – are based on real people and real events.
Unlike our loud and lively Holiday Open House, the “Christmas Eve” tours are intimate gatherings, with only six people per tour. Groups are led through the house every fifteen minutes, stopping in six different rooms to see how the holiday story unfolds.
This special tour is recommended for adults and children 8 years of age or older, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Go to the Trail End Guilds, Inc. For a list of times and available dates. Please call Superintendent Sharie Shada at the museum with any questions: 307-674-4589.
