Biteman Remains Steadfast in Belief that State Spending Can Be Reduced

Over the last several years, the Wyoming Legislature has been working to combat a growing deficit in K-12 funding. While some have suggested economic diversification and/or tax increases, others believe that there are still spending reductions that should come first. Local Senator Bo Biteman stands with those that have subscribed to the latter argument.

The fate of the state budget for the next two fiscal years is set to be finalized by the end of the current Budget Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature. Thursday, March 12 is the last scheduled day work in the 2020 gathering.
