Although the state budget for the next biennium was a main focus during week 2 of the 2020 Budget Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature, the House and Senate still spent time on other bills that were in the hopper. Local Representative Cyrus Western highlighted one such piece of legislation.
House Bill 129 was introduced with a vote of 58 yays and 2 excused with the local delegation unanimously in favor. It then went to the House Minerals Committee and was passed with a 8-1 vote in favor of sending it on to the committee of the whole.
