The Home Delivered Meals program at the Hub on Smith in Sheridan delivers 150 meals per day, with the capacity for up to 180 meals per day. Executive Chef at the Hub Dan Cole says that the program is intended for those 60 years of age or older.
Volunteer Liz Howell says that delivering meals also provides an opportunity for volunteers to check on the welfare of the individual.
Registered Dietitian Georgia Boley talks about how they make the meals as nutritious as possible.
