Blazing Heat Expected Friday and Saturday in Sheridan
Temperatures in Sheridan are expected to be extremely hot later this week. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
A massive record setting heat wave in parts of the U.S. has caused weather warnings and heat advisories for over 100 million people throughout the country. Meteorologist Julie Arthur with the National Weather Service in Billings says extremely hot temperatures are expected in the Sheridan area in the next couple of days.
Arthur said as the temperatures hover around the triple-digit range, proper hydration and limiting exposure in the sun is essential to staying safe during dangerously hot conditions.
Arthur said that along with the extremely hot temperatures Friday and Saturday, there will also be a chance of scattered thunderstorms Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
