On Saturday, they faced off against Pinedale and once again emerged victorious with a final score of 4 to 1. However, in the championship game against the Gillette Grizzlies on Sunday, the Lady Hawks faced their toughest challenge yet.

The first period of the championship game saw both teams serving minor penalties, but the Lady Hawks managed to score first, with 13:00 left on the clock but Gillette soon tied up the game in the second period.

The second period saw Gillette score another goal, making it 2-1 in their favor. With only 2:30 left in the game, the Lady Hawks were in need of a comeback.

In the third period, the Lady Hawks started off with a disadvantage, down by one with the score at 2-1.
