The Christmas Stroll is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and amid COVID-19, the Chamber has extended their local shopping prize campaign.

In an effort to mitigate the possible spread of COVDI-19 among holiday shoppers, the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce has extended the traditional one-day Christmas Stroll “Get Caught Shopping” campaign until Dec. 21.

Through Dec. 21, if residents are caught shopping locally at one of the participating businesses while wearing the Christmas Stroll 2020 button, they could win up to $200 in Chamber Bucks. There is also still time to match button numbers in participating businesses to win a prize from that business worth $50 or more.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Dixie Johnson told listeners how best to use their Chamber Bucks.

Buttons are still available and can be found at participating Sheridan businesses or at the Chamber Office, located at 24 S. Main St., for $5 each.

During the show, Johnson also extended her congratulations to this year’s Lighting & Decorating Contest Winners,  the winners of the indoor competition are Babe’s Flowers with 1st place and Best Western Sheridan Center winning 2nd. The outdoor winners are Cottonwood Kitchen+Home taking 1st and Sheridan Stationery winning 2nd.
