Sheridan YMCA offering “Backyard camp”
The Sheridan County YMCA has adapted their summer camps to suit the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This year, many of the camps have been combined into a backyard camp that include a wide variety of learning and activities.
Those activities include crafting and science, arts, music, team-building and outdoor sporting activities.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, YMCA executive director Liz Cassiday told listeners that each day has something new and engaging for campers to enjoy.
Some things to know…
Campers are expected to bring their own water bottle, lunch, and swimsuits. Close-toed shoes are preferred.
Backyard Camp is intended for students who have completed Kindergarten.
Price: $120-members; $160-non-members per week.
Campers may sign up for multiple weeks.
