Lois Worden

Lois M. Worden, 86 of Sheridan, passed away at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper Wyoming, on February 25, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1938, in Casper, WY to parents George and Odetta Barton Harrison.

On June 30, 1955, she married James Worden in Clearmont, WY. They raised 4 children there and in 1966 moved to Bowerville, MN where they farmed until 1978. They moved back to Sheridan, WY that year.

James passed away on May 6, 1997.

Lois is survived by her 2 sons, James D. Worden and Timothy (Debra) Worden, and 1 daughter, Rena Ulik, and adopted daughter, Connie Thielen. She is also survived by her siblings, Gladys, Sis, Rosie, and Paul, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband also her son, Charles, and siblings, Norvil, George, and Doris.

A viewing will be held at noon on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Kane Funeral Home. With Father Glenn Whewell officiating, Graveside Services will be held in the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall.
