Tongue River Reservoir State Park makes reservation changes

Measuring 12-miles long and situated among scenic red shale, juniper canyons, and the open prairies of southeastern Montana is the Tongue River Reservoir and just up the road is historic Rosebud Battlefield State Park.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Tongue River Reservoir and Rosebud Battlefield State Park Ranger Spencer Morris spoke on the recreation areas just north of Sheridan.

A popular destination for many Sheridan residents, Tongue River Reservoir offers camping and fishing for visitors.

In the past, those who wished to reserve a campsite with an electric supply could do so six months in advance, recently that has changed after the park received suggestions from the public.
