The 8th annual Resolution Run took place on Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. and was organized by the Sheridan Recreation District and PurEnergy Fitness. The race started at the Recreation District office and utilized the beautiful walking paths integrated into Sheridan’s communities as the race’s course. Participants utilized these paths during the race up to Malcolm Wallace Park, which was seen as the halfway point in which contestants would make their way back to the Recreation District as the paths naturally looped back that way.
Once the race concluded, a raffle was held to give away prizes to attendees, including two two-month memberships at PurEnergy Fitness and a free event or day pass for everyone who attended the race.
The race was a perfect opportunity for people eager to start their new year with new health and fitness resolutions. For more information on what the Sheridan Recreation District and PurEnergy have planned, click the links to visit their websites.
