Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse in part to promote the use of the Everbridge application by residents.

Early this year, City of Sheridan Streets Superintendent Mike Kuzara told Sheridan City Council the amount of snow Sheridan received last winter was nearly twice as much as a typical winter season. According to the City, employees missed family events to serve the community last winter ensuring roads were plowed and clear for traffic.

The realization prompted City leadership to propose an ordinance that would allow the city to implement odd-even parking to clear snow more efficiently and effectively during the winter. This new plan for snow removal was adopted by the council.

The City of Sheridan has chosen to use the Everbridge Mobile App to alert the public of odd-even parking to clear snow more efficiently and effectively during the winter season.

Bridger said he has not received many public comments regarding the adoption of the application.
