Sheridan Community Land Trust has helped another local family conserve their land for the future through a conservation easement.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of the Land Trust, Brad Bauer, talked about what these easements do for the land owning families and the community as whole.

These easements provide various benefits to landowners, future generations and the Sheridan community.
In some cases, the easement benefits landowners through tax incentives, continued opportunities for traditional ranching uses, and the peace of mind that these lands will be protected for generations to come.
