Western Grades 2020 Budget Session

The 24 day 2020 Budget Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature ended last Thursday with much more than just the fiscal plan for the next biennium accomplished. Over 400 pieces of legislation was originally on the docket for the group and although many didn’t even make it through introductions, many others made it to the finish line to become law. Local Representative Cyrus Western explained how he would grade the session.

After the mirror budget bills were worked through by both houses of the legislature, members of each body convened in a conference committee to settle the differences. Representative Western shared what some of those disagreements were.
