Aaron PalmerThe newest Sheridan County Commissioner, Holly Jennings, was sworn into the position during a ceremony in the District Courtroom Tuesday morning before the regular county commission meeting.
In an interview with Sheridan Media after the meeting, Jennings was asked what she thought of her first meeting as a commissioner.
She was asked what she hopes to accomplish while sitting in the seat.
Jennings will serve in the seat from now through 2024 until the seat comes open during the next general election.
When asked if she plans to run for the office in 2024, she said that decision will be made at a later time.
She wrapped up by adding she is excited to be part of the county commission and looks forward to working with the other commissioners and county staff.
