Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 28, 1920.

Another important step in the good roads program for Sheridan county was taken at a noonday luncheon today at which a hundred farmers, ranchers and business men discussed ways of building good roads and maintaining the roads that have already been built.

E. A. Davis of Sheridan and J. C. Logsdon of Billings propose to establish new business, to be called the Sheridan Sporting Goods company, in the room adjacent to the Citizens state bank.

B. F. Perkins has sold the building occupied by the Idlewild cafe to J.C. Baird, proprietor of the Baird Hardware store, which is in the adjoining building.
