Sheridan/Johnson HS Track and Field: Sheridan and Johnson County High School Track and Field teams were in action yesterday at either Buffalo or Gillette.
The best of the best will go up against each other today at the Wyoming Track Classic in Casper, in a meet that is considered a preview of the state meet, which is 3 weeks away.
Sheridan/Buffalo HS Soccer: The Sheridan boys are undefeated with 1 tie in the 4A East.
That one tie was against Cheyenne Central, and the rematch is today at Homer Scott Field, beginning at 6pm.
The Broncs also play again tomorrow at home vs. Cheyenne East, beginning at 12-noon.
The Sheridan girls play the same 2 opponents today and tomorrow on the road.
Meanwhile, Buffalo plays a home double-header today vs. Douglas and another double-header tomorrow at Rawlins.
Sheridan HS Softball: Sheridan and the Northeast quadrant teams are in Gillette today and tomorrow to play all 4 teams out of the Southeast quadrant.
The Lady Broncs are scheduled to take on Cheyenne East and Torrington today beginning at 12-noon and 4pm respectively.
Tomorrow’s opponents are Cheyenne Central at 10am and Wheatland at 2pm.
Sheridan/Johnson County HS Spring Golf: Sheridan and Johnson County teams are back on the course to compete for the first time in 3 weeks, now that the weather is a little more cooperative.
Both Sheridan and Buffalo are scheduled to compete at a 1-day meet today at Cody, while Big Horn and Tongue River will be at Lusk today and at Wright tomorrow.
Sheridan HS Spring Tennis: The High School Spring Tennis season has been having its share of weather problems as well, but teams are trying to get in what matches they can.
Sheridan is scheduled to host Green River in a dual today, beginning at 4pm and host the Sheridan Invitational tomorrow starting at 10am, to close out the spring portion of the schedule.
Sheridan Lady Mavericks/Mavericks Lacrosse: The Sheridan Lady Mavericks are hosting a learning clinic tomorrow at 9:30am for all ages.
At 11:15am the team will play a scrimmage at Bridges Field.
As for the boys team, they are scheduled to be in Cheyenne this weekend.
The Mavericks will take on the host team at 9am and Cody at 1pm.
Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers are back in action at home this weekend.
The team is scheduled to play a double-header against Rapid City Post 22, beginning at 4 and 6pm tomorrow and a single game on Sunday at 11am.

Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies lost the rubber game of their 3-game series yesterday at Cincinnati 6-4.
Tyler Freeman hit a 2-run home run to get the scoring started, but Colorado could not maintain its momentum.
The Rocks return home today, to begin a 6-game homestand, with the first of 3 games vs. Atlanta.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:40pm.
Tomorrow’s game starts at 6:10pm and Sunday’s game at 1:10pm.
Denver Nuggets Basketball/NBA Playoffs: The season for the Denver Nuggets came to an end last night, as the team lost Game 6 of their first round best of 7 series at Minnesota 110-98 and lost the series 4-games-to-2.
Minnesota moves on to the 2nd round to take on San Antonio.
Game 1 is scheduled for Monday.
Other NBA playoff scores from last night, New York obliterated Atlanta in Game 6, 140-89 to win the series 4-2 and move on to the 2nd round.
Philadelphia won Game 6 at home vs. Boston 106-93, to even up the series at 3.
The deciding Game 7 is scheduled for tomorrow at Boston.
Colorado Avalanche Hockey/NHL Playoffs: The Colorado Avalanche now know which team they will take on in the second round.
Minnesota won Game 6 last night at home vs. Dallas 5-2, to win their first round best of 7 series 4-2.
The Avs will host Games 1 and 2 of their second round series, but as of this morning, the exact schedule and dates of games have yet to be announced.
The only other playoff game from last night, saw Anaheim win Game 6 at home vs. Edmonton 5-2, to win that series 4-2.
The Ducks are waiting for the winner of the series between Las Vegas and Utah.
