Sheridan/Johnson County Spring Sports Schedules: The schedules for several spring sport events have been changed thanks to the approaching weather system.

The Sheridan High School boys soccer game vs. Campbell County will start at 2pm today, instead of its original 6pm start time.

Buffalo’s games at Worland today are now at 2 and 4pm, instead of 4 and 6pm.

The Sheridan track and field team has added the Douglas Invitational to their schedule.

The meet was originally supposed to be held tomorrow, but it has been moved up to today.

Arvada-Clearmont is scheduled to be there as well.

Start times for the Sheridan softball team’s games today at Worland are now at 10am and 12-noon.

The Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball team is scheduled to play a 5:30pm game today at Gillette, but that is weather dependent.


Sheridan HS Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Martini Named 2026 WCA 4A Coach Of The Year: It’s the athletes that win the games, events, and championships, but the coaches have something to do with it.

Jeff Martini of Sheridan High School has been named the 2026 Wyoming High School 4A Boys Basketball Coach of the Year, by the Wyoming Coaches Association.

This past season, the Broncs won their 3rd state championship in school history, with the other 2 being won in 1959 and 2003.

SHS went 24-1 on the season.

Coach Martini explains several things that this team had that stood out more compared to previous teams.

Things change in Wyoming High School Basketball next season, as the shot clock comes into play for all teams and all games.


University of Wyoming Spring Football: The Wyoming Cowboys are in week 4 of 5 in their spring drills.

The team had their first scrimmage this past Saturday and Head Coach Jay Sawvel says there were not many good moments on either side of the ball.

The Pokes will scrimmage again this coming Saturday.

The Brown and Gold game is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th.

It is open to the public, although a start time has not yet been announced.


Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies lost last night at Houston 3-1, extending their losing streak to 6 games.

The Rocks will try to avoid the sweep as they close out the series against the Astros today, starting at 6:10pm.
