Sheridan/Buffalo HS Soccer: Sheridan High School Soccer Teams went undefeated this weekend.

The Boys won at Cheyenne East on Friday, and tied at Cheyenne Central on Saturday.

The Girls were at home and won against the same 2 opponents.

Both teams have a quick turn-around this week, as they play tomorrow against Thunder Basin.

The boys are on the road and the girls are at home.

Buffalo won both of their games on Friday at Douglas.

The Bison and Lady Bison next play on Thursday at Worland.

Sheridan/Johnson County HS Track and Field: Sheridan and Johnson County teams competed at meets this past weekend at Tongue River, Upton, Spearfish, SD and at Powell.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs both won at the Powell Invitational.

The big meet this weekend is at Billings, with a few other meets going on at Douglas, Shoshoni and at Greybull.


Sheridan HS Softball: Sheridan went 4-0 against the Casper teams, winning both at home and on the road.

The Lady Broncs are next scheduled to play this coming Thursday at Worland.

Sheridan Mavericks Lacrosse: The Sheridan Mavericks went 2-0 in games played this past weekend at Jackson.

The team defeated both Bozeman, and the Jackson JV team.

The Mavs are at home this weekend as they rematch the Jackson JV team on Friday and host Helena, Montana on Saturday.


Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers dropped all 4 games in Rapid City against both Post 22 and Post 320 to start the season.

The team is scheduled to play a single non-conference game on Thursday at Gillette.


Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies ended up losing all 4 games at San Diego.

On Friday, the Rocks lost 5-2, and Saturday’s score was 9-5.

In that game, Mickey Moniak hit both a 2-run and a solo home run, while Edouard Julien provided a solo shot of his own.

Colorado lost yesterday 7-2.

The Rockies are off today and start a 3-game series tomorrow at Houston.


Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets closed out the regular season on a 12-game winning streak, winning on Friday at home vs. Oklahoma City 127-107, and winning last night at San Antonio 128-118.

With those wins, the team secured the #3 seed out of the west for the upcoming playoffs.

Denver will matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a first round best-of-7 series.

Game 1 is this coming Saturday in Denver.

Tip time is scheduled for 1:30pm.


Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost on Saturday at home vs. Las Vegas 3-2.

The Avs have 3 games remaining in the regular season and are next scheduled to play today at Edmonton, starting at 7:30pm.
