Sheridan Boys and Girls Wrestling Teams Finish 7th, Tongue River Boys 5th At 2026 State Meet
Sheridan HS Senior Keegan Rager repeated as champ at 175 pounds (49-1 record), and Braxten Crow completed an undefeated season at 190 pounds, to help the Broncs finish 7th at the 2026 State Wrestling Meet at Casper.
Logan Rager was 3rd at 144 pounds, Finn Stalick was 4th at 138 pounds and Chi Simmons (113 pounds) and Brady Hartman (285 pounds), each finished 5th.
Thunder Basin would 3-peat as 4A State Champs.
Searney O’Brien (120 pounds) and Dani Grooms (145 pounds) each finished 2nd and Evelyn Patceg (170 pounds) was 5th, to help the Sheridan girls finish 7th.
Star Valley would 4-peat as 4A State Champs.
Kobbe Smith (106 pounds), and Trey Breen (144 pounds) each finished 2nd, to help the Tongue River boys place 5th, which is their best finish to date.
Kipton Guptill (126 pounds), TJ Watkins (132 pounds) and Cash Vollmer (150 pounds) each finished 4th for the Eagles, while Calder Vollmer (157 pounds) was 5th and Colter Schwend (215 pounds) was 6th.
Kemmerer won the 2A Boys crown.
