Big Horn HS Football: It’s championship weekend in Laramie for Wyoming High School football teams and 2 teams in Sheridan County are hoping to bring home championship trophies.

First up today is a matchup of undefeated vs. undefeated as Big Horn and Mountain View are set to collide in the 2A State Championship Game.

The Rams are the #1 seed out of the East, while the Buffalos are the #1 seed out of the West.

BH Head Coach Kirk McLaughlin says one of the things he’s seen in regards to MV’s offense is that they know how to mix it up

Kickoff from War Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 12-noon.

Due to certain restrictions we are not allowed to video stream the game, however you can hear Shane and Ryan Parker with the LIVE radio play-by-play on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Sheridan HS Football: The 4A State Championship Game is the nightcap tomorrow as Sheridan will attempt to 5-peat as champs, but standing in their way is their old nemesis from Campbell County.

Given the history between these 2 teams, it might seem a little surprising that this is only the 4th time that they’re playing each other for the state championship and the second time that they’re playing for all the marbles in Laramie.

Broncs Head Coach Jeff Mowry says given the coaching turmoil that happened at Campbell County, it’s hard to tell if the Camels will have a similar game plan compared to when the 2 teams played 1 month ago, and the weather in Gillette during last week’s semifinal game, forced Campbell County to change their strategy against Cheyenne East.

Kickoff tomorrow is scheduled for 4pm.

Just like the Big Horn game, Shane and Ryan Parker will have the LIVE radio play-by-play on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks are at home for 2 more games this weekend.

Today the team hosts Gillette, and Rapid City will be in town tomorrow.

The puck drops in both games at 7:30pm.

University of Wyoming Football: The Wyoming Cowboys have rested and recovered from their week off and are ready for their final 3 games of the regular season.

The Pokes play tomorrow at Fresno State, who also had last week off to prepare.

Two weeks ago, the Bulldogs showed the Mountain West Conference that they were not dead in the water, as they clobbered conference favorite Boise State at Boise 30-7.

Cowboy Head Coach Jay Sawvel says in the games that Fresno State has won, the turnover ratio was heavily in their favor.

He adds the Brown and Gold defense has done good in the takeaway department as well, but the offense isn’t always getting the ball in a desirable spot on the field.

Kickoff from Fresno is scheduled for 8:30pm, and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

University of Wyoming Men’s and Women’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys are hoping to entertain high school football fans tomorrow after the games are over.

The Pokes host the University of Portland inside the Arena Auditorium.

Tip off is scheduled for 7pm and you can hear the game LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls are in action today, as the team visits the University of Santa Clara.

Tip off for that game is scheduled for 7pm and you can hear that game LIVE, also on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.

Denver Broncos Football: The Denver Broncos have a big game this Sunday in the AFC West as they host Kansas City.

Denver leads the Chiefs in the AFC West by 2 ½ games with 7 games to go, thus a win would be a huge step towards maintaining their first place lead in the division.

Kickoff Sunday is scheduled for 2:25pm and you can hear the game LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.

Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won Wednesday night at the LA Clippers 130-116.

Nikola Jovic with another double-double…55 points and 12 rebounds.
