Sheridan County HS Basketball: The post season picture in high school basketball is beginning to come into focus, but there’s still some time for things to change.

Most of the Sheridan County teams are on the road this weekend.

Sheridan plays today at Cheyenne South and tomorrow at Laramie.

Big Horn is in Crook County to play Sundance today and Moorcroft tomorrow.

Tongue River is at home today for their lone game of the week vs. Wright.

Arvada-Clearmont lost both games yesterday at home vs. Upton, and will play again today at Hulett.


Johnson County HS Basketball: Buffalo is at Cody today and at home tomorrow vs. Burns.

The Kaycee boys play today at home vs. Ten Sleep, and then the boys and girls play tomorrow at Hanna.


Sheridan/Johnson County HS Wrestling: The Sheridan boys lost a dual last night at Thunder Basin 48-24, while the girls won 54-30.

Today is the home finale against Campbell County.

Tongue River and Buffalo will compete today at the Buffalo Invitational.

Next weekend are the regional meets.


Sheridan HS Nordic Ski: Sheridan is hosting its 2-day invitational on Cutler Hill this weekend.

Start times are 1pm today and 10am tomorrow.

This is the last meet before the state meet which is in 2 weeks.


Sheridan/Johnson County Indoor Track and Field: Sheridan, Big Horn, Tongue River and Buffalo are all scheduled to compete tomorrow at Gillette.

Next week is the Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho, which features some of the best track athletes in the western US.


Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks play 1 game at Helena today.

It’s a game that will have major seeding implications as the 2 teams are battling it out for 1st place in the NA3HL’s Frontier Division.

Tomorrow the Hawks play at Bozeman.

The puck drops today at 7:05pm and at 7:30pm tomorrow.


University of Wyoming Men’s and Women’s Basketball: Round 2 of the Border War is tomorrow as the Wyoming Cowboys play at Colorado State.

Tip off is scheduled for 2pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls are at home tomorrow to take on Boise State.

That tip off is also scheduled for 2pm, and it can be heard LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.
