Two Sheridan County High School Coaches Named Coaches Of The Year For Spring 2024 Season

It’s the athletes that win the games, events, and championships, but the coaches have something to do with it.

Taylor Kelting (4A Boys and Girls Track and Field) and Kirk McLaughlin (2A Boys Track and Field) have been named Coaches of the Year for the Winter 2023-2024 sports season, by the Wyoming Coaches Association.

Sheridan won both the 4A Boys and 4A Girls Outdoor Track and Field State Championship.

The Broncs won their 3rd title in 4 years, while the girls won only their 2nd title in school history.

The other was 1983.

Big Horn repeated as 2A Boys Outdoor Track and Field State Champs.
