A Sheridan HS Senior who plays a club level sport, will continue playing at the collegiate level.
Jadyn Keller has signed his National Letter Of Intent to play men’s volleyball at Clarke University, located in Dubuque, Iowa.
He says he started playing in gym classes and when the Blacktooth Volleyball Club decided to put a men’s team together, he decided to join.
Keller says he’ll visit the University during the upcoming spring break, and explains what Coach Elle Kosciuk saw in him and how he got her attention.
“Just my competitiveness. She liked my effort for everything, how hard I was working. She liked the potential that I had, for only have been playing for 1 year, but I went to a website, that had every school with men’s volleyball team on it and I sent my highlights to every single one. I went down the list, went to every single one. So I got quite a few emails back and talked, but I wanted to go to Clarke the most. We already have a good connection. They’re super nice, super funny. I really like the coach, she likes to keep the gym really competitive. No spot’s secure, very well organized there too.”
Keller says he is considering majoring in business management.
Clarke University is a private Roman Catholic University.
The Pride are an NAIA team that plays in the Heart Of America Athletic Conference.
