Troopers v Gillette Rained out / 4A Regional Soccer Starts Today / Rockies Have won 8 of Their Last 10 Games

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers and Gillette Roughriders made it through four and two thirds of an inning last night then the lightning followed by heavy rain washed out last night’s game.

The Troopers go on the road for a double header in Casper Sunday and will play at home next Saturday against the Billings Expos club team.

4A EAST REGIONAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT – The Sheridan Broncs and Lady Broncs are the host teams for the 4A East regional soccer tournament which gets underway today.

All first round girls games are being played at Big Horn high school and all the boys games will be played at Sheridan high school

The Lady Broncs play Campbell county this evening the game, scheduled to begin at 5pm.

The Broncs will take on Campbell as well at 5:00 at Homer Scott stadium, all first round matches are loser out.

The semi finals will be played tomorrow at Sheridan high school and the finals and consolation games will be played Saturday.

REGIONAL TRACK AND FIELD – Track and field regional meets start tomorrow the Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete at Thunder Basin high school while Big Horn, Tongue River and Arvada / Clearmont will all be in Torrington

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies beat Pittsburgh 4-3 Wednesday, they’ve won eight of their last ten, they have an off day today and will be back at Coors field tomorrow to open a weekend series with Philadelphia.
