Dale Lyle Johnson

Dale Lyle Johnson, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, WY, surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born on December 16, 1940, in Verdel, Nebraska, to parents Lyle and Verda Johnson. He served in the Army for 2 years in Vietnam.  On April 8, 1978, he married Fern George in Rapid City, S.D. In 2003, they moved to Buffalo, WY, until they moved to Sheridan in 2021.

Dale loved his Lord, enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of Bethesda Worship Center.

Dale is survived by his wife, Fern Johnson of Sheridan, WY, his son Travis Johnson of Grand Island, NE, daughter Kimberly Hannon of Selby, S.D., three stepsons, Ritchie Ashburn of Quartzite, AZ, Mark Alan Ashburn of Spring Valley, TX, Michael Dana Ashburn of Sheridan, WY and his sister Betty J. McGill of Lincoln, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his sister.
