Janina Krei

Graveside funeral services for Janina Potts Krei, Buffalo, Wyoming resident who passed away suddenly late Monday evening at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, will be held Friday, September 16^th at 2:00 p.m. in Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo with Pastor Paul Gilbert officiating. Donations in Janina’s memory may be made to the Janina Krei Memorial, a fund set up to help with final expenses, in the care of Harness Funeral Home 351 North Adams Avenue, Buffalo Wyoming 82834.

Janina Lynn Krei was born on August 27, 1979, in Buffalo, Wyoming to James and Marilyn Potts.  She grew up and attended schools in Johnson County until she was 14 when she moved with her family to Byron Wyoming.  She was married in Byron in 2006 and in 2008 her daughter Bianca was born.  In 2021 she moved back to Buffalo where she lived until her death. 

Janina loved watching her beloved Raiders play football and spending time with her family. She is survived by one daughter Bianca Krei of Buffalo; her partner Donald Jackson; her mom Marilyn Potts of Buffalo; four sisters Melissa Humes of Oregon, Jolene Potts of Buffalo, Michelle Potts of Buffalo, and Jessica Wylie of Casper, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Jim Potts and one infant son, Dakota.
