Campbell County Health Names New CEO

The Campbell County Health Board of Trustees recently announced that Matthew Shahan has accepted the position of CEO for Campbell County Health. Shahan is a Montana native with several years of leadership experience in rural healthcare. He holds both a Bachelor’s of Science and an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration.

Shahan comes to CCH from West River Health Services in North Dakota where he served as their CEO, overseeing a 25-bed critical access hospital, six ambulatory clinics, skilled nursing facility and assisted living location. He has also overseen the integration and employment of an independent physician group into the West River organization. Shahan will begin his tenure as CEO on May 16, 2022. He will be an employee of UCHealth and will serve Campbell County Health as Chief Executive Officer.
