With COVID-19 and vaccines dominating the news and social media, it can be difficult to know where to turn for trusted information.
On Aug. 4, at 3 p.m. AARP Wyoming, Mountain-Pacific Quality Health, and The Wyoming Department of Health will team up to present the latest free Wellness Wednesday webinar with reliable information on the COVID-19 vaccines.
The webinar can be seen at this link, or by visiting AARP Wyoming’s Facebook page, which can be found at: facebook.com/AARPWY any time after 3 p.m. on Aug. 4.
The webinar will feature Tonja Woods, PharmD, the Associate Dean of the University of Wyoming’s Pharmacy School. Woods is a clinical pharmacist at Ivinson Medical Group in Laramie and one of only five pharmacists in the state to be certified in Geriatrics. On Wednesday, Woods will offer some insights to COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, recognize concerns related to the COVID-19 vaccine and help viewers better understand the facts around current available vaccines.
“We are thrilled to be joined by Tonja Woods for this webinar,” AARP Wyoming State Director Sam Shumway said. “We hope the presentation will help Wyomingites to better understand the processes that brought us the vaccines and what they need to know when considering whether the vaccine is right for them.”
Wellness Wednesdays Webinars are made possible through a collaboration with AARP Wyoming, The Wyoming Department of Health Injury and Violence Prevention Program, Wyoming Council on Aging, Wyoming Department of Health Aging Division, and Mountain Pacific Quality Health.
The webinars are a monthly series devoted to maintaining a healthy lifestyle during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinars are free to the public and there is no requirement to be an AARP member to take part.

Trusted information brought to you by AARP, a far left org, and presented by fakebook, a social media platform owned by a far left oligarch that is known for censorship? Sure.
