JCSD1 Board Gets Updated Facilities and Grounds Report

Johnson County School District Facilities Director John Zink gave the latest information on projects at the various facilities in a written report to the school board.

His list of projects he is currently working on include the Buffalo High School (BHS) boiler plant replacement; BHS Phase II VAV (Variable Air Volume) Controls; BHS and Cloud Peak Elementary Audio Enhancement (bells & intercom); District Basketball Shot Clocks; New Gym Scoreboards in Kaycee; and the Kaycee HVAC Component Project where they received three proposals for Professional Services. A committee interviewed two of the three firms with one firm dropping out. The committee has selected and recommended Engineering Design Associates for the Project.
