Johnson County Ratifies CAMA MOU

Johnson County’s Commissioners ratified a Memorandum of Understanding between the county and the Wyoming Department of Revenue concerning support for CAMA, or the Computer Aided Mass Appraisal system.
The MOU was signed by Chairman Bill Novotny due to time constraints and needed to be approved by the commission.
Novotny explains further.
According to sinergese.com, computer-assisted mass appraisal is a term used to describe a software package used by government agencies to help establish real estate appraisals for property tax calculations.
