Luminary Bags to Honor Veterans

As a way to honor Veterans, between now and Veterans’ Day, the Clearmont Historical Group is offering the opportunity to purchase Luminary Bags and tea lights which will be displayed in the window of the Clearmont Historical Center.

Proceeds from the sale of the luminaries will go to the Civil Air Patrol Youth Program.

The Center will participate in ‘Treat Street’ on Halloween, young ghosts and goblins can come by the Center, and they will find treats and maybe a surprise, Hirz said.

The Annual Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held on Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Clear Creek Valley Veteran’s Memorial, with a program following at the Clearmont Community Center.

There will also be a program on November 20 at 2 p.m. presented by David Nicolarsen of the Natural History Museum of Wyoming.

The CHC 2025 Fall & Winter Hours (September – May) are Friday 10-3, Saturday 10-3, and anytime by appointment.
