Wyoming Game and Fish Department Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt is alerting the boating public that all aquatic invasive species check stations in the Cowboy State will soon be reducing hours of operation.

Starting Oct. 2, the Sheridan AIS check station at the Travel and Tourism Center will reduce hours to 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.

Schmidt said for those who may continue to enjoy the water into the fall season there are still opportunities to have your watercraft inspected.

The Sheridan check station is currently operating seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
