The Sheridan Community Land Trust is inviting the public to enjoy a day out on the trail cleaning up the community for Earth Day.

SCLT will be hosting an Earth Day Creek Cleanup on Thursday, April 22. Organizers and volunteers will meet at Emerson Park in Sheridan at 5:30 p.m. and clean up garbage along Little Goose Creek while walking the Sheridan Pathways leading downtown.

Attendees will be able to see the new downtown boater access site, part of the Tongue River Water Trail. Afterwards, the group will gather at the Black Tooth Brewery on the patio. All ages are welcome and Hetty’s Pizza will be available for dining.

SCLT suggests volunteers wear sturdy shoes. SCLT will provide gloves and trash bags.

Those wishing to volunteer must fill out the volunteer release before the event, found here.
