Prevention Council Nominates Chairman

The Johnson County Prevention Council has nominated and approved a chairman who can act on behalf of them and sign documents.

Bill Hawley explained to the council at their recent meeting that new requirements have necessitated the need for a chairman.

Hawley said the council has operated very informally to this point,with him acting as meeting organizer, taking meeting minutes and other requirements, which he will continue to do.

But he now needs someone in place to represent the council.

The council nominated and approved Jerry Osborn for the position.
