Pat BlairA ribbon-cutting Wednesday afternoon inaugurated a 4,000 square foot addition to the Sheridan County Airport terminal for passenger screening.
In a presentation before that, Airport Manager John Stopka described additional work that was also part of the roughly $2.1 million project.
Morrison-Maerle was the engineering firm for the project, Arete was the architectural firm, and Dick Anderson Construction was contractor for building the addition.
Stopka said the FAA funded nearly 94 percent of the project cost. Sheridan County paid about 2.5 percent of the cost, and the state of Wyoming provided just under 4 percent.
Stopka said the project was tough to build, because construction took place during the winter, but he said it was a great project.
