SEEDA Sets Budget For 2026-27 Fiscal Year
The Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority (SEEDA) has its budget set for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, with most of the money aimed at 2 things.
At its quarterly meeting last week, the SEEDA Board authorized a budget of about $2.9 million in expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year.
SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs explains where most of that money will be used for.
“The one difference of note is that within the administration budget, some additional funding for the SEEDA administrator position, but other than that, the expenditures, we’ve ruled over the funds for the high-tech business park Phase II, in anticipation of that project.”
As far as business park goes, Briggs says SEEDA is currently working through the final plat approval process with the City of Sheridan staff.
