The Voices and Votes: Democracy in America exhibit currently hosted at The Museum at the Bighorns will be traveling to Cheyenne for the 250th birthday of the USA.

The last day to view the exhibit at The Museum at the Bighorns will be Saturday, June 13. The traveling Smithsonian exhibition explores the 250-year history of American democracy and examines how citizens have shaped government through voting, civic participation and public debate.

Museum Executive Director Carrie Edinger said the exhibit highlights the nation’s ongoing effort to create “a more perfect union” and encourages visitors to reflect on the role of democracy in their own communities.
