The temporary closure is expected to last 2 to 3 weeks. According to the Sheridan Community Land Trust, as of May 18, during its pre-construction meeting, the US DOT Federal Highway Administration provided provisional details about the Red Grade Road Project. SCLT understands that these details are not finalized and are subject to change.

Subject to updates, Red Grade Road will be temporarily closed during construction which is expected to begin the week of June 15. Closures are expected 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 6 pm. Equipment and material staging to start the week of May 25 at the BLM stock rest and surveying to begin the first week of June.

SCLT Marketing and Development Contractor Chris Vrba said SCLT will participate in weekly construction meetings and update the Trail Closure Updates page on their website based on what is shared at the meeting.
