JCSD1 Enrollment Slips Two in January

Enrollment numbers in the Johnson County School District fell by two students district-wide from December of 2025 to January of 2026, according to a report presented to the school board at this month’s meeting.

In the report, numbers at individual schools showed an increase of four students at Meadowlark Elementary; a loss of one at Clear Creek Middle School; a gain of two at Cloud Peak Elementary; a loss of three at Buffalo High School; and losses of one at New West High School and three at the Kaycee School for a net loss of two students across the district.

Total Students in the district as of January 6 were 1,089 down from 1,091 from the December enrollment report.
