Secretary Gray Submits Second Request for Removal of Weston County Clerk Following Governor’s Reconsideration

Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray has submitted a second request to remove Weston County Clerk Becky Hadlock after a new round of examination of the clerk’s conduct has begun by the Governor’s office after qualified electors submitted a second set of verified complaints about Clerk Hadlock’s conduct. Secretary Gray said his referral of this matter and recommendation for the removal of Hadlock are not made lightly.

Gray said that he’s also deeply troubled by Clerk Hadlock’s failure to comply with a legislative subpoena issued by the Wyoming Legislature’s Management Audit Committee, in order to address the false post-election audit.
