Public Hearing Draws Positive Comment on Liquor License Renewals

A Public Hearing concerning the renewals of the city Liquor Licenses drew one comment from Bill Hawley, Johnson County Prevention Specialist, who said retailers have recently done a good job preventing the sale of alcohol to minors.

Later in the meeting the council approved the renewal of 22 liquor licenses within the city limits.
