Buffalo Council Approves Amendment for 2025-26 Budget

The Buffalo City Council considered an amendment to their 2025-26 budget.

Mayor Shane Schrader explained the need for the amendment.

Ordinance No. 1497 outlined the amendment, setting aside $122,300 for the self-contained breathing apparatuses, $49,065 for a new police vehicle, and $492,320 for a new fire truck for a total amendment to the budget of $663,685.

The council voted to pass the budget amendment.
