Sheridan Commission OK’s Kleenburn Stabilization Project Agreement

Sheridan County’s Commissioners recently considered the Landowner/Conservation District Agreement for the Sheridan County Tongue River Kleenburn Stabilization Design Water Resources Improvement Project.

County Engineer Ken Muller detailed the agreement.

According to discussion, theConservation District has guaranteed covering the cost of design up to $75,000 but the county would need to cover costs above and beyond that, with funds that have set aside in Muller’s budget.

He did say they did not know what the costs could be, and said a decision on the project would be coming.

The commission voted to allow the chairman to sign the agreement.
