BPD Chief Thanks Community for COVID-19 Cooperation

During the recent Buffalo City Council meeting, Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder gave a “thank you” to the community and he county for their response to the situation surrounding the COVID-19 crisis.
Carder gave his end-of-the-month report for May to the council as well.
There were nearly 1,300 incidents in the city during the month, mostly dealing with traffic issues but also a significant number of security and business checks.
Dispatch also handled just over 3,100 total phone calls in May.
The city’s Animal Control Officer (ACO) responded to eight animal calls in the county, for which they were charged $400.
