Sheridan Commission Accepts De-annexation Impact Report

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a report prepared by the County Public Works Department concerning a petition from Sheridan Heights Ranch, LLC to de-annex from the City of Sheridan and its potential impacts.

County Planner Mark Reid gave more details on the request and the report.

During the discussion period, a question was raised on how the water rights would be handled, with Reid saying those would be addressed in the subdivision process.

The commission voted to approve and accept the Impact Report and direct the chairman to sign the document.
